Lafayette is a wonderful place to live, excellent schools, thriving downtown with lots of great restaurant’s. It is very much a family town with a strong sense of community. Close to perfect climate as you can get. Easy commute to SF, by BART or car. Excellent trails and hiking close by. Easy to get to Napa, Livermore, Russian River Valley, Tahoe and so much more. A lot of young families move here for the schools and relatively safe environment. Over all you will be hard pushed to find a better town. I picked Lafayette from the map of America when I moved from Ireland and over all I could not be happier.
