The Bothwell Arts Center Presents Shaping Tomorrow’s Visionaries Shaping Tomorrow’s Visionaries is a 5-week series of classes to inspire students to examine issues, develop principles and appreciate Diversity, Community, Humanity and Environment. The projects are based on a diverse group of visionaries interviewed and painted by artist Nova Starling. The art-integrated lesson plans create a roadmap to guide and inspire students to examine issues, develop principles and appreciate Diversity, Community, Humanity and Environment. Taught by Livermore Arts Visual Arts Manager Anne Giancola, MS Applied Communications, the hour and half weekly classes are a multimedia adventure into the process of becoming a visionary. Students will emerge from the series with a plan to make a difference through social action. Very limited enrollment in keeping with current Alameda County restrictions. Class size limited to 15 students. 5-week in person classes will take place at the Bothwell Arts Center, 2466 8th Street on Thursdays from 4-5:30pm starting April 15, 2021. Covid safety precautions will be strictly observed.
