King of the County BBQ Competition & Music Festival

This popular FREE community event offers FUN for the entire FAMILY! King of the County draws 10,000+ attendees from all over the Diablo Valley, East Bay, Solano County and San Francisco Bay Area to enjoy BBQ, live music from top local bands, arts and crafts booths and commercial exhibitors, carnival rides, more eclectic food vendors, beer, wine and craft brews and a backyard barbecue competition! This year we have added a large section of carnival rides for kids and the entire family to enjoy. Ticket packages and wristbands for rides will be available to purchase on-site. Hours of the event are Friday, June 16th from 5-9pm, Saturday, June 17th from 11-8PM and Sunday, June 18th from 11-6PM. A selection of beer and/or craft beer and wine will also be available. Alcoholic beverage purchase will require proof of ID and purchase of 2 Drink Tickets & 1 Commemorative Glass. Purchase in advance for a pre-sale promotional discount and pickup at WILL CALL All sales are final, non-refundable and non transferrable. ID required for each individual per glass picked-up at Will-Call. As an added bonus, for advance purchase, you will be automatically entered into a drawing for a Hotel Savings Card of $500. Winner will be drawn and announced by July 1st. Winner Must be 21 years of age or older to redeem. The Hotel Savings card “cash credits” are used as a cash currency that serve as a form of payment that allows users to buy down the cost of their hotel or resort bookings booked through BOOKVIPPLUS. Our competition draws between 30-40 Backyard Barbecue Teams over the 2-day competition on Sat & Sun. Many of our competitors are local family teams that return every year in hopes of defending the title or dethroning previous victors and royals.
