3rd Annual International Winemakers Summit

We’re gearing up for our 3rd Annual International Winemakers Summit (first in-person). This year, we will be at Longevity Wines in Livermore, California. This is an opportunity for attendees to meet and learn about winemakers of African descent from around the world. This year, we’ll talk about the State of the Winemaking industry as it relates to these winemakers. IWS offers attendees further acknowledgement of how diverse the wine industry is and growing, and why diversity matters and should be supported. ​Attendees will register to attend the summit in person and hear from winemakers who will share their wine journey and talk about the various varietals they have in their portfolio. Discussions will include Shifting in the Atmosphere – The State of DTC, Pricing Your Wines, Getting Down for the Next Generation of Winemakers, and more. We’ll also do a temp check post-pandemic (or thereabouts); who’s back, who needs help, wine club marketing, and the tasting room. Of course, we’ll also discuss wine, the various varietals produced by these winemakers and why they choose what they choose. We’ll wrap up with winemakers having the opportunity to taste secret wines and give it their best shot at guessing what’s in the bottle! And, of course, there are giveaways!
